CheckDispute Partners
Recommend careful credit help.
Earn when it is paid for.
CheckDispute Partners is for educators, writers and creators who already help people understand their credit reports. When someone you refer pays for a report unlock or a plan, you earn 20% to 35% of what CheckDispute actually collects, for 12 months.
The program is invite-only during the beta, and CheckDispute approves every partner by hand. Applying is free. CheckDispute never charges partners.

Mailing, electronic signature, notarization, sales tax and card holds never count. A card hold is not a payment.
A qualified customer is a referred account whose payment cleared the 35-day lock. A new rate applies to payments captured after the change. Tiers are checked every day. A move up applies at once; a move down happens only on the 1st of a month. Commissions are rounded down to the cent.
How it works
From a link to a payout.
- 1
Share your link or code
Your link looks like app.checkdispute.com/r/YOURCODE and opens checkdispute.com with nothing added to the address; add /es at the end to open the Spanish site. Your code gives no discount, so customers pay the same price.
- 2
A new account is linked to you
If someone creates a CheckDispute account within 45 days of following your link, the account is linked to you. A partner code they type before their first purchase also links them to you.
- 3
A payment is captured
You earn only when CheckDispute charges for a delivered service, never on a card hold. Each commission is locked for 35 days so refunds and payment disputes can settle.
- 4
You are paid monthly
On the 15th of each month, payable commissions are paid when they add up to at least $50. Smaller balances carry over.
Attribution
Credit for your referrals, without tracking people.
CheckDispute records referrals on its own server. There is no tracking script, pixel or third-party cookie, and partners never receive anything that identifies a customer.
One first-party cookie
Following your link sets one cookie, only on app.checkdispute.com, for 45 days. It holds a random reference to the visit, not your code or your rate, and no script, advertiser or analytics company can read it.
The first link counts
If someone follows two partners’ links, the first one counts while it is valid. An account that existed before the click, or that has already paid for anything, is never linked by a link.
Codes are the fallback
Some browsers shorten or clear cookies. A customer who types your partner code, when signing up or later under Settings, before their first purchase is linked to you, and a typed code replaces a link.
Permanent once they pay
After a linked customer’s first payment, the link cannot move to another partner, and you earn for 12 months from their first eligible purchase. If a linked account makes no eligible purchase within 12 months, the link lapses.
Your own account never counts
Accounts that match your email address are refused, purchases made with your own payment card are held for review, and household members, employees and accounts created to earn are not allowed.
What partners see
Totals for visits, sign-ups, customers and commissions, and an unidentified reference for each eligible purchase with its type, amount, date and status. Never a customer’s name, email address, credit reports, letters or anything in their workspace.
Payouts
When and how you are paid.
Locked, then payable
A commission is locked for 35 days after the payment is captured, then becomes payable. A refund or payment dispute reverses it, even after it was paid, and a negative balance is netted against later commissions.
Paid on the 15th
Payable commissions are paid on the 15th of each month when they add up to at least $50. Smaller balances carry over to the next month.
Your first payout also waits until CheckDispute approves your first promotional material.
How payment is made
CheckDispute pays partners directly for now. Before your first payment, CheckDispute asks for your W-9 and tells you how to send it securely; never send your Social Security number or EIN by ordinary email. Payouts through Stripe Connect will follow; Stripe then collects your identity, bank and tax details.
You are responsible for your own taxes.
No fees, either way
Applying is free. CheckDispute never charges partners.
Partners never charge, bill or take payment from a consumer in connection with CheckDispute.
Who qualifies
Who can join.
- Partners are U.S. residents 18 or older, or U.S. businesses. One partner account per person or business.
- Good fits teach people about credit reports and money through their own website, blog, videos, podcast, social media accounts, newsletter or in-person workshops.
- CheckDispute is inviting a small group of educators, writers and creators first. Open applications will follow.
- If you run a credit repair, credit services or debt relief business, or you are a lender, broker or attorney, say so when you apply. Your CheckDispute promotion must stay separate from any fee you charge consumers.
- You apply with a CheckDispute account and accept the Partner Agreement as part of the application. An application that is not approved can be made again after 90 days.
Compliance
The rules, in plain language.
Partners recommend CheckDispute under the same rules CheckDispute follows. Federal law forbids anyone, not only CheckDispute, from making untrue or misleading statements about these services.
Disclose every time
Use one disclosure next to the link or recommendation, in the language of the content, said and shown in videos, and never only on a profile or behind "more". "Affiliate link" or a "buy now" button alone is not a disclosure.
- StandardI earn a commission if you buy CheckDispute through my link or code. Your price is the same.
- Short social postAd: I earn a commission from CheckDispute.
- Next to a linkPaid link
- Video, said and shownThis is a paid partnership. I earn a commission from CheckDispute if you buy through my link.
Include the consumer facts
State all three facts in any article, video longer than 60 seconds, email or long post about CheckDispute. Short posts must at least link to checkdispute.com, which states them.
- You can dispute credit-report errors directly with the credit bureaus for free.
- You can get your free credit reports at AnnualCreditReport.com.
- Accurate negative information is not an error. No result or score change is guaranteed.
Never promise results
No promise of a higher score, a deletion, an approval or any other result, no claim to fix or repair credit, and no result testimonials, including your own. These are never allowed:
- Score or outcome promises
- Deletion or removal promises
- Credit repair framing
- Accuracy-blind tactics
- Identity misuse
- Impersonation or false affiliation
- Result testimonials
- Credit or loan approval promises
- Price misstatements
- Legal-service framing
Never touch consumer data
You receive no consumer data and must never ask for it: no credit reports, Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords or login codes. Never sign in to, upload to or operate a customer’s account.
Never charge consumers or speak as CheckDispute
Never charge, bill or accept anything of value from a consumer in connection with CheckDispute, never offer to do the process for them, and never present yourself as CheckDispute, its staff or its support.
Get your first material approved
Submit your first promotional material before you publish it. Stories and live streams need an approved script first, and paid ads need written approval of the copy and the targeting. If CheckDispute asks for a correction or removal, make it within 48 hours.

Partner questions
How referrals, commissions and the rules work, in plain language.
Does a partner referral change what a customer pays?
No. Partner codes give no discount, and the price is the same with or without a partner. Customers can remove a partner link, or replace it with another partner’s code, until their first purchase.
What if a customer’s browser blocks or clears cookies?
Some browsers, such as Safari and Firefox, limit or clear cookies, and the link can be lost. The customer can type your partner code instead, when signing up or later under Settings, before their first purchase.
Why is each commission locked for 35 days?
CheckDispute charges only after a service is delivered, and a customer can still receive a refund or dispute a payment with their bank. The lock lets most of those settle before a commission becomes payable. A later refund or dispute still reverses the commission.
Do mailing, e-signature and notarization count?
No. Only the report unlock and the Basic, Plus and Premium plan fees count. Add-ons, sales tax and card holds never do.
How does the leaderboard work?
The leaderboard is private to approved partners and optional, and it shows only the display name you choose. It never counts clicks, and there are no prizes.
Partners are ranked by net eligible revenue from customers whose payments cleared the 35-day lock, adjusted for how many customers come back in a later month (from 0.8 to 1.2 times).
To be ranked in a period you need at least 3 qualified customers, refunds and payment disputes on 5% or less of your recent conversions, an active account and no open compliance review. Rankings cover the current month, the last 90 days and the calendar year.
Can I run ads or recruit other partners?
Paid ads need CheckDispute’s written approval of the copy and the targeting, and no ad may bid on CheckDispute, Check Dispute, misspellings or the domain. Partners are never paid for other partners’ customers: there is no multi-level structure.
What happens if a partner breaks the rules?
CheckDispute can require a correction within 48 hours and hold payouts during a review. Promising results, impersonation, selling by phone or text, asking for consumer data, charging consumers or fraud can lead to immediate suspension and termination, and commissions connected to a violation are forfeited.
Is a partner part of CheckDispute?
No. Partners are independent. They cannot act for CheckDispute or for a customer, sign anyone up, take payment or change a price. If something a partner said conflicts with this website, the website and our Terms of service control.
CheckDispute Partners is run by CheckDispute LLC. This page summarizes the program; the Partner Agreement controls. For customers, the Privacy notice explains the referral cookie.
