The notarized document returns to your workspace. We collect the authorized charge after the completed document is saved.
A little preparation makes the call easier.
Have a valid photo ID, an unsigned PDF, and a device with a working camera, microphone, and reliable internet connection.
This service uses OneNotary’s identity questions. Each signer needs a valid U.S. address and a Social Security number valid for at least two years. Complete identity verification directly with OneNotary; do not send your ID or SSN to CheckDispute support.
Read OneNotary’s session requirementsEnglish or Spanish. Your choice.
Use CheckDispute in English or Spanish. OneNotary’s identity screens are in English; you can request a Spanish-speaking notary. Availability depends on the provider.
For individuals and businesses
Individuals can start with their own document. Business members work within the selected client workspace; the actual signer completes the identity check and signs personally.
Before you notarize
Do I need notarization to dispute a credit report?
Do not buy notarization just to make an ordinary dispute look stronger. The CFPB’s dispute instructions describe explaining the error and providing supporting copies, without a notarization step. Use this optional service when your particular document calls for it, and confirm the recipient’s requirements. Read the CFPB’s guidance.
Does notarization prove my credit dispute is correct?
No. Notarization is not a finding that an account is inaccurate or must be deleted, and it does not guarantee a score change or dispute outcome. You remain responsible for the statements in your document.
What happens if the session does not finish?
If the session ends without a completed notarized document, the service charge is not collected. An unused card hold is released; your bank controls how quickly it disappears. Once the video session starts, cancellation may no longer be available. Refunds and cancellation
Can I use any document?
The recipient and notary determine whether your document is suitable for online notarization. Confirm the required certificate and any witness requirements first. This workspace accepts PDFs and does not choose legal wording for you.
